Owls pullover is completed. Better pictures to follow.
So, I have now put together the sleeves and the body. I have also completed more than half of the owls section. I am so excited to finish this. Hopefully, I will be able to complete it this weekend on my trip to Chicago.
I haven’t had a whole lot of time to knit but I am almost finished with the second sleeve. I think I am going to redo the first one though because the increases don’t seem as evenly spaced as they are on the second sleeve. So basically, I am at the same place I was before I even started this sleeve.
Mr. Rogers was probably the begining of my love for cardigans.
Waist shaping for Owls pullover.
I probably should have chosen a different increase that would not have left those tiny holes, but they are so small that when I put it on you won’t be able to tell.
Pattern:
Thuja by Bobby Ziegler
Yarn:
Cascade 220
Modifications: I used US 5 needles instead of US 6. They were meant to be men’s socks but came out the perfect size for me using the smaller needle.
This is a pair of socks that I finished quite a long time ago.
I never really got around to blocking them until earlier this week.
I give this project 4 stars. I think they turned out nicely but I should have paid more attention to the number of rows I was knitting. One turned out to be slightly larger than the other.
At the moment, I am working on this sweater.
The pattern is called Owls by Kate Davies.
Thumbs up so far. I am only about half done but the pattern is excellent. It has only taken me about a week to get this far, which is basically light-speed for me.
